Victorian Socialists is standing candidates in all three wards for the Maribyrnong Council. We want to provide a stronger voice for working class people in our area - one that defends public services, stands up to racism and that puts the interests of the community over the profits of private developers. The COVID crisis is upending the lives of many - we will fight for jobs, pandemic leave, rent reductions & greater social support for all. We will defend public housing residents. Our candidates are trade unionists, refugee rights campaigners, climate activists & all are active in our proudly working class and multicultural community.
